Why do you care about the protesters? They are out there every time there is a war. Just a certain percentage of people, 2-3% maybe who are pacifists, including many clergymen from all religions. There are also some Greens, Vets, religious types, Palestinian supporters and some who just hate Bush. Most of these people dont even vote unless it's for the Green party. They're not Democrats, or if they are, make up the far 1% left fringe. They have almost no representation in DC or in the press so this is their way of getting their message out. By the way, now that the war has started, you'll see very few prominent liberals amongst this group. Martin Sheen was out yesterday with Catholic priests protesting. Did you know Martin Sheen is a devout Catholic who supports babies so as not to have them aborted? The right-wing actually has a lot in common with Martin Sheen morally. Michael Moore is also a serious Catholic. Ironic huh?
