"99% of people support the troops"

Sheesh, is anyone keeping track of how many times The Little Engine Who Could says this? When it comes to American Spirit supporting the troops, she feels she has to keep saying "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can..."

You can't support the troops w/o supporting the mission. Any other position is just intellecutal dishonesty....

I have some breaking news for you. If someone votes for decreasing military spending and intelligence gathering, there is a pretty good chance that they are not "supporting" our troops. It is a "non-issue" for you, not for me. You sound like the fools that ask the generals in the news briefing, "Where will the tanks be tomorrow?"

I must say that your arguments about the war and how it is being fought, at least what I've seen, are incredibly superficial and somewhat misinformed. You're not a Democrat politician, by any chance?
