Don't use the Saddam boogy man argument about him gassing his own people 13 years ago. We all know Saddam is a very bad man. So are a dozen other dictators in the world. But what Bushies keep talking about happened 12-18 years ago. While we all want Saddam gone now, it's hardly an excuse to exaggerate his importance. In fact, it's very possible Saddam would have never done us any major harm if we'd just left him alone. And even less harm if we'd taken him out with a covert surgical assassination strike when he wasn't expecting it. But you have to recognize that half the reason Bush wants to invade unilaterally is to seize that oil. No wonder he turned off the French and Russians. Why share the 2nd largest oil supply with anyone else?
