DO - well said. Also, there is a big difference in
say bombing North Korean sites that are creating
weapons to give to terrorists - and invading and overthrowing N. Korea (or Iraq)

I think it's a lot easier to justify the pinpoint
bombing done - like the Israelis did to Iraq in 1982,
versus invading Iraq now - and overthrowing the govt.
there, without world support.

This is on George W's head. He will be judged by how
this goes. Very high risk for him - and the US.

"There WILL come a time when it is in our interest to invade and take an aggressive stance against a hostile government. "

Again, that's reactive not proactive.

Would you want innocent business people to die again a la 9/11 over military people who knew what they were signing up for? Do you remember 9/11?

I know you'll say Iraq is unrelated to 9/11 but then you're being naive. The fundamentalists caused 9/11, Iran and Iraqi regimes support the fundamentalists and they also promote hatred against the US and its people.

Do you realize that the reason 9/11 happened is that the fundamentalist don't see a difference between you and your government? So they attacked the general public. At least now if they want to attack us they have the means to fight directly with our soldiers, and die.

Do not take your enemy for granted, they don't know love like you do and they are not educated enough to even imagine true freedom.

God Bless the USA.

Who is to decide when is the appropriate time for war? You? Me? No, only the Commander in Chief can make that decision. If you protest after that, you are helping the enemy. IMO. One way we could lose the war is dissent from within. The Vietnam syndrome. Therefore, not supporting the President now is helping Saddam's propaganda. I don't expect to change the opinion of others, but this is how I feel.
