Rumsfield throws Gen. Franks out for the last year on his various plans.. They spend hours over months of working the plan and get agreement from the chiefs of staff. etc. Then we get these journalists trying to judge in five days how the war is going... Bogged down! These troops hadn't slept in three or four days. running night and day. They stop in a blinding sand storm. They wait for supplies to catch up.. Bogged down..! The sky clears, some got sleep , some got fresh ammo, food, etc. regrouping, bogged down.. So sad these journalists get paid for the trash they write.
