scootinski- so, how was it today? to die for? there is SO much rhetoric going on up here as a result of cellucci's remarks the other day .... golly, it's almost as though we have nothing better to do with our time. my feelings are thusly - we (canadians) are not anti-american we're pro-canadian, and there is a big difference. whereas the term patriotism could fairly be equated with americans, nationalism would apply to canadians. again, there is, but this time a subtle difference. and lastly, i think we don't see ourselves part of the american family, as much as we see ourselves as MEMBERS of the international community. having said all this, i have to admit, we have a lot of assholes in this country who say and do very stupid things, but they are not the barometer. ... the end. hoser
