So the fact that we have superior firepower somehow justifies the use of civilians as unwilling human shields? Now there's specious logic.

As for the marketplace explosion, I don't have all the facts, nor do you. I guess the short answer would be that it would be in character for Saddam to lob a rocket into a civilian area, since it clearly has propaganda value. Recall, this is a guy who has gassed his own people.

They probably did, no parts of a Cruise missile shown on that news clip. It's more likely that one of their Scuds didn't go off right or they even did it on purpose for propaganda. There's no definite proof either way, but more likely it was done by Iraqis, IMO.
