He did not stop the execution of killers who were convicted of crimes by their peers. Saddam was the jury, judge and executioner. He also taught his sons how to rape and murder. And this is a guy you want to defend. You are one sick puppy.

We supported Saddam in the 1980s and said nothing when he gassed the Kurds in 1988, because we didn't want to lose those lucrative weapons and oil contracts we had with the Butcher of Baghdad. We have installed and supported dictators as bad as Saddam, like the Shah of Iran and Pinochet. I know it's water under the bridge now, but those are the facts.
