before long the only approach taken to fighting locals will be to cut off their city from supplies, food, water, gasoline, oil, etc that will kill many innocents I see no other way, except to get caught in guerrilla fighting in every single city and town we will face a terrible choice: kill innocent civilians or else get caught in difficult guerrilla battles everywhere we talk about preserving innocent civilian lives UNTIL DOING SO ENDANGERS OUR SOLDIERS translation: we will kill civilians soon, lots of them locals will use them as human shields and we will kill them also COLLATERAL DAMAGE WITHIN ACCEPTABLE BOUNDS / jim
