Just to clarify. I am not talking about desertion. I am talking about point blank turning on the regime. It should boil down to just how many RGs and "loyal" troops stick it out for the regime. If the majority are willing to fight, your scenario could very well play out. If less than say 10,000 are willing to sacrifice their lives and the rest are interested in ending the war for the good of the people, things could go a little better for us and the Iraqi people.

That's the doomsday scenario.....I don't think it is very likely to occur....Saddam was clever to place the feyadeen among his troops.....but that strategy has its limits too.... J.
