there is a fellow in nj who is possibly facing a jail term for going after a burglar who broke into his home when his children were at home with an unregistered gun.

If someone broke into my house and threatened me and my family, I wouldn't hesitate to fight dirty.

And I bet you'd fight even harder if your felonious uncle was upstairs holding your wife and kids hostage, threatening to kill them if you didn't keep the cops from getting at him... (metaphorically speaking)...

Just disgusting, but downright canny and primal, the tactics which Saddam's Baathists are using...

But they will be effective only for just so long until it becomes obvious that Saddam's days are numbered and the populace rises up...
