OK I'll accept that. Let me clarify.

ALL of the anti war people I have talked to think that Saddam is a brutal murder, 100% of them. These people are almost all American or European.

Most of the anti war people I have talked to were for continued inspections. Most of these people would have probably supported a war eventually if they saw enough proof that Saddam was really the huge danger the Admin claims. Most of them either do not see enough evidence or they don't believe Bush.

Many of these people have reservations about the motives of our government, knowing that most governments have hidden, mixed and duplicitous motives. Many are aware of some if not all the really crappy dictatorial regimes we have supported. Many are aware of Bechtel and Halliburton etc.

Few of the anti war people are totally against war. Mostly the very young. These are the ones who are a pain in the ass and continue to demonstrate. They mean well, but they haven't come to terms with the fact that violence is sometimes necessary.

Some Muslims are deluded by propaganda and believe Saddam is a good guy. Many Muslims do not like Saddam including Osama. Many Iraqis do not like Saddam but will fight against what they see as an imperialist invader. Interestingly I heard a live interview with a 60 year old retired Iraqi engineer, in Bhagdad, who said he does not like Saddam but he will take his rifle and will shoot at Americans who enter the city.

He seemed not to be a fanatic, I was convinced of his sincerity. I am also convinced he is foolish for taking up arms against the US, he will very likely be killed or injured.
