That's the whole point. They do. We know that. And they now know our weakness. precedent set.

By your logic, didn't Iraq justify our invasion when they invaded Kuwait?

I think that there have been serious mistakes made in response to 9/11. Especially with the attack our our liberties. I believe that i would have chosen a different response. But my choice wouldn't be to lay down an apologize to the people who attacked us as some people seem to favor.

We will, imo, be very sorry we have changed the rules with this "preemption" nonsense. Just wait until other countries start wanting to "preempt" each other. Your "preemptive neutralization" will go down in history as a huge step backwards for humanity.

Seemed to work pretty well in Grenada and Panama...

And I can personally vouch for the fact that the majority of Panamanians I met when stationed there were eternally grateful for being liberated from Noriega and his "dignity battalions".. (his version of Saddam's Fedayeen)
