I'm sure I've insulted you- if you're looking for proof of that, don't bother. I insult people all the time because I think people say stupid things. On the other hand, I'm not trying to convince them of anything. I've totally given up on the idea that you can change minds on SI. And now I've lost interest in even conversing much with people who are into "discussion" that isn't really discussion, and which is instead position staking coupled with insult. I've done it in the past, but it has gotten too boring for me. My time is much more limited- maybe it's a simple function of my need to conserve energy. Who can say? If you become pointless to talk to, I will simply ignore you. I never know whether one is supposed to tell people or not. I have pretty much quit telling people, but if it is more polite to give you notice, and you want notice I will. I've seen people bitch about both options- so maybe it's a personal preference sort of thing.
