Nonsense! My daughter works in breast cancer trials and my sister is a victim. If you are talking poor, how many poor are encourged to go for checkups yet do not take advantage of that? And the school lunch program. Why don't you investigate that? My teacher friends state that the kids on the school lunch program buy chips from the vending machines, pick up the school lunch, take the drink, toss the rest of it in the garbage. Not all of them do, but a large percentage does. I think each program needs to be examined for effectiveness and redundancy. An efficient method for delivering needed programs to those in need.
