What an idiot. I'm not 'defensive of the NYT', I'm OFFENDED by any idiot calling for the bombing and murder of their fellow Americans... on American soil, no less.

Bush won't win unless the democratic candidate is repugnant. With Bush ruining the economy and being seen giving away so much to the rich he will fall flat on his face. And if Saddam does have biological or chemical weapons and uses them on our troops there's no way Bush will get elected. He will be blamed for getting us in this war. The American public has turned more isolationist and that's NOT unpatriotic. Most Americans have a different vision for our country than Bush does. And THAT'S not unpatriotic either!
