My point is that hate breeds murder, and religions can be easily hijacked as justification. What is going on today is the result of that hate. The scale of the killing in the Middle East is staggering, but we suffer from the same issues. Whether it is people who kill abortion doctors, McVeigh, homophobics who murder gays, or Serbians who are practicing 'ethnic cleansing', killing happens in the name of Christianity. Boy, are those people in for a rude surprise when they get to dem pearly gates (and find out what the 9/11 hijackers found out).
