LA Times gets the story SLIGHTLY wrong:

Yesterday's Los Angeles Times carried the following correction:

A "Counter Intelligence" review in the Food section March 19 quoted the owner of Mr. Pickles Deli in Los Angeles recalling a radio comment by talk show host Laura Schlessinger about the restaurant's brisket. Schlessinger said that the brisket does not need to be adulterated by ketchup, not that the brisket is the first step before adultery.

If you want, I'll send you all of my USRX 56k modems. They're just keeping dust off the shelf.

My neighbors decided to get their cable hooked up. Time Warner came out Thursday AM, sliced a trench (on my side of the property line), buried their cable, hooked it up, and left. Interestingly enough, my cable ceased operating about the same time. By the time I realized they cut my line, they were gone. Finally got a crew out this evening... four long days later. I'm quite annoyed.
