Quit giving me this friggin bleeding heart bullshit about how concerned America was for Kuwait. Where the fudge were they when thousands were massacred in Rwanda? They sat idly by while innocent people were being hacked with machetes before news cameras. If America was in Kuwait it was because of financial interest (OIL) and not because of humanitarian concerns.

Chris,

You also have to recall that the US' stated position on Kuwait prior to Iraq's invasion was to tell Iraq we had no interest in the quarrel they were having over Kuwait's slant drilling into Iraqi oil reserves and we sent the Iraq envoy home with 10s of millions of dollars in aid or loan guarantees or somesuch and the idea we would do nothing.
