Ken Lay is THE MAJOR GOP BUSH booster, the biggest ever. Why would you say he was in any way equally in with democrats? Not even close. Maybe 15% of the GOP at the most. Giving to his political opponents. Lay gave Bentsen (D) of Texas a check and told him as he was giving it to him that he hoped he lost the election. Lay was just hedging his bets. He gave Lieberman $250,000 and Hillary Clinton $200 but he was always Bush's partner. Who has kept Lay out of prison? Certainly not any democrats. They dont even have the power to do so. In fact they'd LOVE to indict him if they had the power. The Bushies control the government now. They control the indictment and subpoena powers.
