So r u saying that liberating an African nation would be OK but not Iraq?

U r right that there are many wrongs in the world that could/should be righted. It seems sensible to me to do the ones that are most feasible first. Can you name me an African country where the dictator could be disposed and a democratic govt could be set up? It can be done in Iraq far more easily IMO because there is the public support for it and a good technology infrastructure.

If everyone was like you then the world would be better, but not everybody wants peace or has compassion for fellow humans. There are some evil fuckers out there and they need taking out. If averybody tries to appease them then they get stronger. My hope is that one by one, these dictators go out of fashion. Start with the easier ones first and then there is a better chance of getting rid of the more difficult ones such as NK who are better armed and have a powerful ally (China). If Saddam is not beaten, then his ambition would to have NK type weapons.

Or maybe you would prefer another 12 yrs of UN sanctions that don't impact Saddam's luxury lifestyle, or change his murderous ways, but make life difficult or impossible for the poorer Iraqis who have a pre 5 yr old deat rate of 1 in 10.

Does it also make you sick when you hear of the French and Russians saying no war because of the human consequences, when in fact they are just concerned about oil money they would make if Saddam was allowed to continue with his murdering and torturing regime?
