Agree, can't rule out the "orchestrated" possibility.

It's also likely that Blair wants to show (just a show) the huge opposition side in UK that he is doing the fair things in the Middle East in order to gain a little credit for invading Iraq even he knows there's not much he can do about the Israel-Palestine conflicts. One thing is sure, political and image damage control is badly needed for Blair.
