PS Problem is that your flowers scenario(and mine) shows no sign of happening in bagdad-- more chance in basrah with shiites.


We have ended up doing a "Compression" liberation plan for Iraq, that is exactly what Saddam expected and planned for. The RG ends up in defensive positions in and around Baghdad, and will take some digging out, if they don't surrender. Hopefully we will end up going into the center of the city, over their heads, and creating a "Fog of War" that leads to a quick end.

There are over one million Shiites in Baghdad.
