It's good Perle resigned. He was trying to use government power to make hundred million buck deals with the Saudis and they busted him for it. Maybe they dont like Zionist chickenhawks in Saudi Arabia.

PS: The anger against the US on the Arab street is really getting fierce and dangerous. I hate to say it but maybe this war WILL create more terrorists. Looks like it to me. We pray not of course.

Based upon that theory, Perle, along with Don Rumsfeld, made sure that the troops currentlyin Iraq were few and lightly armed.

The 3rdID is "lightly armed"? Do you even have a clue? What kind of idiot wrote that piece?? Even our AB troops carry heavy machine guns, rocket launchers and LAWs. For a mobile infantry force, they pack a powerful punch.....And they have proven more than a match for the opposition when directly engaged....
