The reason for the UN's existence is to subvert our national sovereignty and suck our economic resources. This is pretty much a one-way street. But I still don't know where authority comes from to make "legal" any military action.

The UN is hardly a righteous entity, capable of such judgement. Any authority the UN has, exists only because we have given them our support. Where is their power and authority derived from? Not from the likes of countries in Africa, Europe, Asia, South America ...... ya, they're all a righteous bunch.

I kind of think we should cease all involvement in the UN except for its relief agencies, cut our financial support drastically, and ask them to move to Europe. tim

The UN, which we helped form, is about working
together, talking, and hopefully preventing
wars.

If we are going to survive in the 21st century,
we have to have a forum like the UN. Otherwise,
we will have chaos.
