Tom, agreed, we didn't put it on our flag for nothing! <g> Glad you got a chance to go ... I haven't been in one in years. I do have friends who tap a few trees, but they just boil it down at home. Isle Verte isn't officially on the Gaspe, but it's close enough for rock and roll. I'm in shock that anybody on the thread has heard of it! <g> I know the sign you mean quite well. I've never heard of anybody actually getting swept into the river (it's still technically the St. Laurence at that point), but the road does get closed for a few hours several times a year. btw, it's never really un-pc to say "eh", eh, but we do get kind of offended about "hoser" unless you're holding a couple of beers in your hand. <g>
