very interesting comments, Wizard.

I agree overall. But Israel is only part of the larger picture. The radical sunni muslims are equal-oportunity terrorists. Shiites, Kurds, Christians, agnostics, and atheists are all fair game too.

<< Islam is a peaceful religion that has been hijacked by a bunch of angry thugs. >>

I guess i would say it's the angry thugs who get all the media and military intelligence attention. There are many followers of Islam who are peaceful and who have not allowed themselves to be contaminated by the savage sunni / wahahbbi vampires.

the whole thrust of your post is zionist baloney, including your reference to tom friedman, a jew from the ny times. why should we listen to some jew tell us how arab societies are failures. one day americans are going to get sick of jews telling us why we must distrust and wage war against arabs. americans shouldn't care that arab societies are failures. let them work out their failures on their own. oh, but that's right. that blood-sucking jewish state of israel needs america to meddle in the middle east. the crux of the problem for americans is not failed arab societies in the middle east. the crux of the problem is jews dragging america into the quarrels of the middle east when it is none of our business.

>> When Arabs can live next door to Jews in peace, with normal trade and embassies in Jerusalem, then we will know that the Middle East may have turned the corner <<

jews have just as much trouble living at peace with their neighbors as the arabs! yet you always frame it as if the arabs are the cause of the problem and need to make the changes.
