Isn't is amazing that those of us who would have opposed the League of Nations in 1919 are now fervent "Wilsonians?"

At first glance, yes, but I don't recall Wilson arguing for democracy by force. "Make the world safe for democracy" was definitely a slogan. But I don't recall he ever argued some form of "we will impose democracy on other countries." In fact, as I type, I seem to recall a corollary Wilsonian injunction which was national self determination. But, no doubt, there is someone on the thread who knows the Wilsonian literature better and can offer some wisdom.
