Wow! As to the following statement, that is how I view liberals (i.e, how you view conservatives), particularly those in leadership positions:

Two things I will say about liberals vs conservatives, is that liberals are rarely self oriented, and their intentions are almost always to try to help other people. They do not always accomplish the result they aimed for, and that is unfortunate. Also, being liberal is much more in the sprit of Christian doctrine than conservatism will ever be, even though conservatives continually try to claim the high moral Christian ground. I say this as a non-Christian [and a non-Moslem also] ... <g>.

The labels of conservatism and liberalism have been turned upside down over the years. Conservatism is rooted in freedom in general and freedom from government coercion in particular. Liberals talk a good game, but rarely come through if it is against their economic self interest. Witness the protestors who believe the war costs may reduce the education funding to subsidize their education finances. Makes me want to puke when I hear that.

Conservative values of freedom of religion and freedom from government coercion via taxation, selective prosecution etc are the founding principles of our country's formation. Good hearted liberal and conservative citizens have similar goals for the human condition, but apparently radically different ideas of how to achieve them.

That's a mouthful. And I would like to respond to this.

But to be fair to you, I would like to give you a response back to your post.

Unfortunately, I have been out for a good part of today (unplanned)(now yesterday) and will not be able to give you a response at the now past midnight deadline.

But a response is coming nonetheless.

Are you going to keep me underwraps with just the "economic argument" why I fully believe we are going higher?

Or can I extrapolate on the sentiment and technical underpinnings in which I believe we are going to launch much higher?
