McCain's bottomline argument "Saddam is Evil, he does bad things, we will kill Saddam. The war is therefore a just war." This has also been Steve's basic argument all along, but he is increasing his parameters dramatically, as he stated before the war that "Shock and Awe" was unacceptable. And he even said the wanton bombing of enemy soldiers was unacceptable; but NOW he doesn't mind, as he must NOT mind this for if he did he would have to say "ah ah , i was wrong". I have always been amazed how much people will start tolerating what they previously would not tolerate, as it would cause them to say, "i was wrong."( like when i went through heat and blasting back when i was stating this market is in a vicious bear market, the similarities are striking indeed:( In the 'this is incredible department', Bush is now saying he never suggested this war would be easy but it was the result of misinformed "friends of the administration" saying wrong things. So i gather we are to believe Rumsfeld is not a member of the administration and that Richard Perle is NOT a glove on the hand of the administration and on the Defense Board. This endless spin. (jump in topic) Anyone who has read my posts can not avoid noting i have for a looooongtime been saying that it was dangerous to OUR TROOPS what this administration intended to do( and further, dangerous to this country and the world at large). I have only been vigorously trying to communicate one simple idea and it was basically "Read my lips, this is LUNACY" With knowing that is my purpose, let them fire away at me; i don't care. Paxmax
