2) If you have faith in the United Nations to do the right things, keep this in mind: the UN has Libya heading the Committee on Human Rights and Iraq heading the Global Disarmament Committee. Do your own math here. correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the order of the committee heads alphabetical? and if so, what great power does the chair hold over the rest of the consul? personally I think if Libya and Iraq did head the chair, they could be the focus of a great deal a pressure to improve their track records. btw, check out SI's Hotlist, Mouf's thread is #5 right now!
