While CNN is reporting this as if it was a football game with how many yards are gained here and what the strategy is there, CBC has been showing the human side of the events and is constantly interviewing people who have relatives in Iraq and asks what they have heard from their families

The problem is, the majority Americans see the world through these media and they naively thought that the people around the world think the way they do. That is why there is the "Shock and Awe", it may work for wealthy Americans who can't watch the collapse of Twin Towers, but I doubt how useful it would be for people who have been experiencing those bombings here and there since 91.
