A friend was telling of how it was in the woods when the 'culturally-modified tree' thing first came in, how they'd have to work around some old cedar snag that was defaced on one side from the indians taking a plank out of it years ago, or even just stripping the bark, which will kill that side and in most cases make entry for various forms of rot ...... said friend had sardines with lunch each day, and on some of these CMTs he would drive the sardine can onto a spikey little stub of dead branch, call that his Culturally Modified Sardine Can

Yes, heard lots on Pender Is .... had lunch once with a group involved in excavating there, actually at the time more like conserving it for later research, this was in the eighties, some part of the best site had recently been discovered on private land, of which there was a risk it would be developed

It does little good to think about politics, really ... might as well simply sit down, ask yourself if you'd rather laugh or cry, and do so directly, cut out the inefficient middle steps with all those depressing players .... but the market, hmm, the HUI is waking up today ...... could it be, could it be? - naaah, too early yet by a couple weeks .... ?

Oh Lenny my man,dat was funny.

Some good posts here lately.I love the tone.
I am sitting on the sidelines and have little of value to contribute- everything I own is taking a nap.
As to day trading or position trading BBD.b is in my sites-if it tanks next week I am in for a tad.
Same goes for CAE.
GBU- The month end came and went. It should climb up at least 50 % of its last pullback.
SUF- Does this one swing or what ?
CPT- see that little sell at 28 cents ? Thats me. Notice how it just sits there? Well thats how most of my sells have been going for the last 6 weeks.

So instead of watching the boards I am cutting the back off my truck and welding in a new frame, along with that comes some new springs ,axles and tires with 60 % wear left in them. Its a waste of time but i can drive the ugly thing for 5 more years just by tossing in all the spare parts I have lying around. The bonus is the yard gets cleaned up as well.

later

OK Leonard fill us in on ECU. Is there a danger of a rollback ? Whats the debt look like. On the surface I like what I see.

BBD.b- That was the bottom today. My buy at 2.05 did not get hit.

TM-.I think a second drill is coming in. The ground is difficult to drill and the core is busted up. I am looking for a new play to focus on and have this one parked on the sidelines. I have lightened up and will step back in only on good news or next nov dip .

CPT- CC is picking up on the trading action again. This now appears to be the norm. They run it up abit and then step away for awhile and let it drift off.

TK.T - new Henstridge company. I am watching for it to start trading. Very tight company . Although no one has described it as such I figure that Tinka is the South American explorer and Tumi is the North American explorer. I tripped over this one when it was called Desert Holdings. It could take a year or two before a good peice of turf gets dumped in but if that Tombogrande' property (that Tumi dropped) is any indication of what Henstridge is capable of turning up. Tk could be good for a bounce at one point or other.

BTI- remember that one ? It is finaly going to roll over and die. What a dog.

SUF- Whats going on with this dog ? I got it flagged again. There is news in the pipe. 6 bucks who would have thought ?I swing traded this one 3 or 4 times last year. I never did time it right... but made a few bucks on it.

INM- Ok I give them a tentative thumbs up. Nice piece of ground, pretty good management from what i can dig up.

CAE- Many pilot licenses run out after 6- 12 months. If they do not have the hours flying the real planes they have to fly in the simulators to keep their license. There is alot more to it than just that, but the business seems pretty sound in theory.

Gotta run

you take care

Congraduations on ECU...that is a neat find
