Concerning the "general resurrection" Most people think that when people die they go to heaven. They then claim that they will return to be reunited to their bodies - only not the bodies they had - but a glorified version of the same bodies they had. So they go to heaven and live there quite happily for thousands of years and then get reunited with a body to either go back to heaven or some say to live on earth for a 1000 years and then go back there. They place the day of judgement - who knows were?
