This is not a nightmare....it is a war...I recognize the risks and I have confidence our military can overcome them...doesn't mean I don't worry.....but in my experience our military capability is second to none and we have, til now, been fighting in a too PC manner....I DO remember a lot of this same whining and moaning pre-Gulf war....to me much of it sounds like whiners with an anti-Bush agenda.....I praise the planning because I think given the boots on the ground ...the results have been very good.... the 101st just finished deployment and the 4thID has not even arrived yet....Americans need to learn tactical patience....its something the Arabs know very well.....

This is what I have thought since the inception of this war that it is unwinnable. Win the battles and lose the peace if there is ever to be one. We are dealing with a completely different culture; a religion that is foreign to most" Christian" Americans who compose the majority of our religious citizens.. We ( the ordinary citizen who has only Rush L. and G.Gordon Liddy to translate what is going on ) have not been advised about the consequences of the JIHAD, their uniting behind even the dictator,Saddam, whom even though they dislike will rally for when a foreign invader infidel, comes onto their sacred soil. 9/11 was Ben Laden's way of striking back at us for inhabiting what he considered scared Moslem soil.... It won't be over until the fat lady sings but you are singing the song now...Jim Willie CB..... in verse and in common sense if not damn good intelligence. Amen
