I had originally started this as another thread dedicated to venting my frustration with the liberal agenda... but does it really matter?

All subjective opinions appreciated.

I think not – particularly when using confrontational argumentation formats. Of course some are, by their intellectual and emotional limitations, easily lead in any direction.

With that said, honest debate preparation, and the logical examination of one’s own position, can influence an honest debater’s personal conclusions. On rare occasion personal opinions do change during discourse – but that takes an open, honest, and rational mind.

Without exception (to over generalize) most liberal arguments fail because they are based upon the necessary assumption of spurious facts, or presuppositions to their arguments. If a liberal debater will not respect the rules of sound logic, what hope has rational argumentation to alter their opinion?
