In addition to the attempts at significant domestic censorship of new from the Iraqi theater, a lot of news related to North Korea is basically being ignored at this point. Here are a few recent examples of significant news that has been given a "low profile" by the preoccupied US media and Gov.

U.S. ready to talk with North Korea

(U.S. conceding to North Korea's nuclear threat?)

koreaherald.co.kr

A couple of points to ponder: China seems intent on tempering North Korea's aggressive actions for now, but if North Korea assumes a more aggressive posture, will Asian markets further destabilize?

Is the U.S. really about to concede to Korea's nuclear threat and open multilateral talks?
