Mike, regarding product price inflation, I think we need some keyboard symbol of solidarity that we're not going to take this bullshit anymore. We know what GFY is - perhaps GFT for Themselves? I hate to tell "real stories" that weren't scheduled on the news/entertainment networks, but I was at the dealership having expensive/economy stimulating brake work done (never had such major work done pre 40k before - planned obsolescence - nah...). This old couple was floored when the salesman told them the truck they needed ranged from $28 to $45k. I believe the comment was "Jesus Christ! I can't even consider that!" Passification was then attempted they could lease (& end up with nothing) option for $300/mo PMT which the salesman cheerily pointed out was such a better option than the impossible $600/mo to buy/own. This is so going to end badly. Our elected politicians are so bogus.
Poli (many) Tics (blood sucking parasites). Any ideas on how we get our Republic back? Lawyers seem to be "king" since lawyers Bill & Hillary got the top positions. Shrub admin needs to have a clue!

rant not at you Mike. seriously want ideas on how we can work to change things.

Mike,

We now have a situation unlike the 70's in many ways and sticking to monetary inflation and price inflation we have deflation on the return of paper assets. The mathematics is clear if you increase your costs by X% and income from these assets go to zero one will be bankrupt at some point in time - it is not if it is when.

It is my opinion the leaders we have in Washington and Business know what is ahead. They are ripping off the citizens to the maximum extent possible to insure their survival as the wealthy class when the house crumbles.
