Red, I saw the release. I think your comments about Debeers over on Fast franks thread on SH is true. I was reading about Debeers, how they started, and how they gained their "former" monopoly on Diamonds. Check out the book "The Nature of Diamonds". books.cambridge.org It is another good book to get from the library. I couldn't put it down! It also has a good explanation on how diamonds can be created, and why they are found in rocks similar to the rock up in Wawa.

I hope MPV doesn't tank. I thought they had more volume than 20 million tons, though. DeBeers will stall a decsion on mining. I think they are waiting for "the holy grail". May only be a few years before one is found, if it hasn't already! And when its found, DeBeers will want it.
