Of course, not all are responsible for that. I got a free membership. Would never pay to post on any site. On the flipside of the same coin we have RB. A place where one must contend with a golgotha of decaying minds. So, where's the most fun to be had? Depends upon what your idea of fun is, I suppose. At SI you're more likely to bump into reasonable conversation with reasonable minds. At RB you're more likely to bump into insanity at most every turn. Until recently, I believe most preferred the insanity. RB is now completely out of control. And that's too bad. There's something to be said for people who make a list of simplistic things to do. Then as they do them, cross them off their list. This list could include such things as: wake up, take a dump, remember to get dressed, make breakfast, remember to eat breakfast once made, see what's on Sesame Street, and much much more. And that's all before even logging on to RB for yet another day of getting screwed by scam bb stocks. The entertainment value of RB certainly exceeds that of SI. Which is why some SI members preferred to remain at Lycos. I certainly know why SI charges, and why they may limit the number of posts one is allowed per day. Guess it's a trade-off of sorts. But, by doing so, you also eliminate much of the "fun" that can be had on message boards. A more controlled environment like SI is fine. Just too bad we may be losing a place like RB. A place where you can indeed let it all hang out. I for one, hope RB somehow survives. I'd hope they'd straighten out their current problems and proceed as they always have. I'd like to have a choice. One day I might wanna deal with sane minds, and the next day I may wanna deal with insane minds. More often than not, most of us prefer the latter. It JUST makes you feel good all over.
