What do you want them to do, not print what the British colonel said?

No, I don't want that at all. But the reporting is EXTREMELY pro-Arab, particularly by CNN, but also by MSNBC. Aaron Brown, last night, was all but accepting Iraqi statements that a US missle killed 52 innocents; but the US has disputed or at least placed it in question.

This is the worst infraction -- accepting Iraqi propaganda at face value. While the US has done everything humanly possible to eliminate civilian casualties, CNN mentions only as an afterthought that Iraqis were mowing down innocents with machine guns, and repeating Iraqi propaganda as thought it were fact. This is NOT honest reporting.

As to FOX, they are careful to point out the fact that Iraq has a long history of lying on such matters. In the Gulf War, the biggest incident of civilian casulaties was caused, not by the US targeting them, but by Saddam using them as human shields. It is reasonable to expect he is doing the same now. The US has said it doesn't think its weapon hit the market; it seems much more likely that Saddam killed these people as a ruse to build Arab hatred.

One other point on FOX. They are routinely carrying coverage from SkyNews, and that coverage is exceptionally liberal, which has the effect of bringing balance to the presentation.

It is downright strange to me to see someone suggest that CNN coverage is fair while FOX isn't. It really points up the fact that people can effectively be brainwashed by years of liberal media bombardment.
