Don't travel to the States if the natives there cannot respect a neighbour's position of the war. Do Canadians go around puncturing the cars of American tourists here because we do not support the Lone Ranger's war policy?

Stay home in Canada. Our country is big and there are plenty of things to enjoy here. Why go to Florida where many people walk around with guns strapped to jackets and pantihoses? Why drive to the States and be embroiled in the paranoia of a terrorist attack.

Want sun? Visit the Carribean islands. The beaches there are wonderful, the folks there are wonderful... they welcome the Canadians and their loonies.

Close the border so that Canadians can leave in peace.

>>A Quebec Senator is warning Canadian snowbirds to be careful going the United States after his car tires were slashed in Florida, an incident he attributes to a backlash over anti-American comments by Liberal MPs and Cabinet ministers.

Roch Bolduc said his wife, Gisèle, found a "huge nail in one of the brand new Michelin tires" after it was parked in a lot Monday while she was doing errands near their condo in Pompano Beach.

He said his wife, whom he will join in Florida next week, has heard of similar incidents in the area happening to other cars with Canadian licence plates. Fellow Canadian snowbirds have reportedly had their cars scratched with car keys, he said.<<

pretty sad situation .. I have crossed the border regularly between St. Stephen, N.B., and Maine, at least 15 times in my younger days.

It is wrong for anyone to do damage to anyone's property or slight them because of the legislature action... Let's hope this crap stops..

I've often questioned American support for the current Iraq invasion.

Agreement seems to manifest itself only in a majority of Americans saying they are in favour of the invasion. I see no evidence of any groundswell of citizens seeking admission to serve in the military. A policy where someone else does the bleeding is far easier to accept by the public than one where the sacrifices are likely to be shouldered by everyone.

It's good to know that in The Land of the Free and Home of the Brave there are still people who are willing to take action. Not for them to stand in the shadows when their nation is at war. No! They step forward and vandalise unattended vehicles in Florida parking lots. Such courage!

How did Canadians treat visitors from United States in 1939, 1940, 1941, the years when they were sitting on the sidelines watching us fight Hitler?

I guess they're angry because we're not softening up the enemy so they can win, like we did in previous conflicts.

The Jerusal...Err..National Post At Its Best?

This RAG is doing its utmost to incite hatred in both Canada AND the USA,then clucking about spurious events that they themselves may be inciting?

Maybe the Canadian Hate Speech Committee might want to do some investigation of this " National Publication ".

Oh well,I guess it is to expected given its bias, but that should not be construed as " Freedom Of The Press " under Current Canadian laws.
