Ork, I was and am against the war, but, if you decide to throw in US troops, these "rules of engagement" seem ridiculous to me. If the threat was dire enough to require war, then you bomb the crap out of them. If not, then you try some sort of embargo or something and maybe toss in a cruise missile or two from time to time to show them we're serious. This, "go risk your life but don't hurt anyone" is not fair to our military. We tried it in Vietnam and Korea without a lot of success.
