You are right about a lot of people looking up, but for now, you have to trust the charts. Nothing yet tells us we are headed down hard. Of course, that can change very quickly with things going on in Iraq. The other thing you have to look at is all the puts in April on the QQQ. That helps me rationalize that we could get our C wave up. I just do not think it takes us as far as some think.

Not really. Everyone likes big up. Even ii bulls are increasing.

I spend hours pondering weekly charts and I come up with as many bull counts as bear ones. On the daily everyone is 100% convinced that the drop from the highs is a pullback rather than a top. To me it's a top until proven otherwise.

skin, here's one who does

Message 18756686

By "next leg down" he's referring to the top from 3/21.

Although his bearishness kept him from participating in most of the fall rally, he shorted just before the January top. His posts sometimes are a bit bold, and we disagree frequently, but I have to admit that he's one of the better traders that I chat with, and he trades full time for a living. He bought puts last Friday and enjoyed a nice ride this week.

However he doesn't use E-wave, and when I suggested to him after the beginning of the rally about the A=C predicting SPX 975 he mainly pointed out the many stiff resistance levels we'd have to break through to get there.
