<Alas.. the world is full of those who see, but do not perceive.. hear, but do not comprehend.. speak, but merely babble.... think, but merely thought... >

Actually, the world has very few who 'see' but don't 'perceive'... which as you put it is judging, coloring with your own upbringing and mental bagage, and impose their own mental position on situations of others with no true understanding.

<speak, but merely babble.... >

No, speak with the realization that the situation transcends what's on my hard drive... and yours. It is that realization that helps remove the goggles of ones past to see reality now.

<think, but merely thought... >

Yes, thinking is part of the problem, being as it is the simple rehashing and repositioning of old information... not 'seeing' what is NOW.

<I guess some people have to live their futures in the past tense...>

I'm living now, now. You're the one using past mental positions and facts to try and extrapolate the future coming up with 'dire' consequences. Sound familiar??? Sounds like a Muslim fundamentalist, or the extreme on both sides of the N. Irish problem doesn't it?

Best of luck.
