That's exactly one of the attitudes I don't want.

I am not picking on you personally...you just happened to make the comment that hit the nail on the head on one of the issues here and I need to use it as an example. There are many who are guilty of the same and really this post goes out to everyone.

Ask any top manager in the corporate world and they'll tell you that one of the keys to success is to be pro-active and not reactive. That means be a leader and not a follower. To do one thing, or not do something as long as everyone else does is being a follower. It doesn't matter what everyone else is doing. Take charge. Be pro-active. Set the examples. Above all, be the better person and not contribute to criticism just because "he did it first". Frequently, situations like that quickly progress into matches where one tries to out-do the other and it is never conducive to a productive environment.

When I was little, my mother used to ask me, "would you jump off a bridge if everyone else did it"? No doubt many of you have heard the same. Think before you "speak". Don't be confrontational. Remember, YOU have the choice to say what you wish to say, and how you say it.
