At last, a truly fine and agreeable statement. Where you around in 1967? I was quite young but remember the days and months before when Nasaar and other Arab leaders would go on about how they would "drive the Jews into the sea" and would destroy the devils and kill them all. I remember the fear of those who really believed that Israel could not defeat those who had numbers, geography, money on their side. Truly, there was desperation that being driven into the sea was a euphemism for hundreds of thousands of new holocaust victims. Fortunately, the Israelis accomplished a modern miracle. Can you imagine what would have happened if the result had been different?
