NC, While reagan was defeating the evil empire, the peace folks were out there in europe and the US denouncing almost every move. They had little or no compassion for the eastern european folks stuck behind the iron curtain. They now have little or no compassion for the arab folks, particularly the iraqis who live under similar repression. Their heroes then were the Allendes of the world. Now they are the arafats. And the US in their view is always adding to the worlds woes, whatever we do. Mike
