70% of Americans support war now that it's started.
That's just common sense. I suort it too now that we're fighting, in terms of winning.

All along the majority of Americans have believed we should have the UN support. Once it was inevitable Bush was going ahead despite the UN the number rose. You had the full power of the White house and all their mouthpieces promoting the war. Telling us easy it would be, making links to WMD and terrorist daily. Only natural after 9-11 people would feel a little guilty NOT to be behind such an effort. After all the President knows best, right? Supposedly anyway. At least Afghanistan was a good idea.

It was more like 55% before the war began, but remember an astounding 51% believe Saddam was behind 9-11. Not even the White House believes that. Right now, there are a lot of people believing in fiction. But maybe that's temporarily a good thing. The troops deserve our support. Even if Bush doesn't.
