It's true the damage has been done...bush jumped in with both feet leaving the US isolated. There will be repurcussions and from here, the only way to unwind the spring of global anti-American sentiment and threat to the safety of Americans would be to apply proper justice where it's due. I do not have an ironclad solution for getting rid of saddam's influence but if less brainlessness than that which led to an illegal invasion were applied I'm sure a solution to saddam can be arrived at. I do have a solution for the other side of the equation...bring bush and the handful of policy idiots who led us into this to justice as well. Maybe THEN we can get on to the business we should have been at all along...a globally coordinated effort to reduce the threat of terrorism.
